"UCP Provides Better Roadmap for Those with Disabilities"

The Plan for Inclusion, which is a roadmap geared at improving state-level Medicaid services for those with disabilities, was recently introduced by the United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) health organization.
The plan was released in conjunction with how several states are ranked according to their treatment of those with developmental disabilities.
Some of the rankings were reported as follows: Arizona (1), Alaska (2), Vermont (3), Massachusetts (4), and California (5) topped the rankings with Mississippi (51), Texas (50), District of Columbia (49), Ohio (48), and Illinois (47) at the bottom.
In The Plan for Inclusion there are suggestions and statistics used so individual states can better comprehend the challenges they face in terms of citizens with disabilities.
Ideas about how to communicate with state lawmakers, administrators and main stakeholders also play a vital role in the plan
"Our reporting and recommendations lend value to both top and bottom performing states," said Tarren Bragdon, an expert in healthcare policy and author of UCP’s Medicaid reports.
